The Goals
To discover and propose potential ways motion and micro-interactions can build upon and enhance the existing user experience with StashAway. Be it through better focus, clearer feedback or simply creating meaningful touchpoints that would differentiate StashAway from others brands.
The Discovery
Inspired by Lyft’s Design principle top measure one work, it is clear to say that StashAway has already fulfilled the first two foundations of the pyramid "1. Nailing the Basics" & "2. Building Confidence" as seen through their growing popularity amongst beginner investors and strong confidences from key opinion leaders in the investment fields in Singapore. Therefore, it only makes sense for this project to tackle the last part portion of the pyramid "3. Be Unique, differentiate".
So how can we differentiate StashAway's brand and have a unique brand image in the eyes of its audience? What kind of impression does StashAway's target audience have after they have used the app? What will make them more encouraged to continue investing or to advocate StashAway's brand?
Possibility for Clearer Feedbacks
The lack of apparent and clear feedback for major actions done on the apps. For example, depositing sums of money to StashAway, setting up a recurring payment or referring a friend.
Opportunities for more emotional & meaningful experience
As much as it is transparent and reliable, there can be the opportunity to inject impactful emotions of reassurance and achievement that would create a more meaningful experience with the app, especially in resonating with its foundation of beginner investors who have taken the big leap forward in investing their hard-earned money.
